A AHSGR and GRHS Dual Chapter

About Us

Be Passionate about Your Heritage!

The North Texas Chapter of Germans from Russia is an organization dedicated to preserving the Germans from Russia Heritage. The Germans from Russia are a unique people who emigrated to South Russia and then to the United States, South America, and Canada in the latter part of the 19th Century.  This group of people maintained their German Heritage through the 100+ years, from the time they left their germanic sovereign states to Russia and on through the present day.  Their unique history, culture,  and customs were brought with them as they settled and expanded in areas from Texas to North Dakota in the United States and also immigrated to South America, Saskatchewan, and Alberta in Canada.  More information is available through the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia (AHSGR) and the Germans from Russia Heritage Society (GRHS) <Click links below >
